Saudi Arabia is certain that it can entice Karim Benzema (35) away from Real Madrid this summer

This summer, Benzema will reach the conclusion of his contract; as a result, he will shortly be a free agent. Al Hilal’s interest in the Frenchman, who declared his retirement from international football after the World Cup, was initially reported by The Independent.

The Olympique Lyonnais academy product is apparently “seriously considering” a move to the Saudi top flight in a deal that would supposedly pay €100 million year, according to the British media. Additionally, Real Madrid hopes to add another year to Benzema’s deal.

However, as Molina notes, Saudi Arabians also have a lot of faith that Benzema may be persuaded to leave the Bernabeu. Not just the Real Madrid forward has been mentioned as a potential addition to the Saudi top division.

According to yesterday’s Foot Mercato rumour, Lionel Messi’s (35) entourage accepted a record-breaking contract offer from Al Hilal, who will have the chance to line up with Messi and Benzema in their forward line in the upcoming season.

Benzema’s exit is presently the most likely outcome, according to Sports Zone, despite Real Madrid’s wish to keep the player. However, no decision has yet been made. If Benzema joined Al Hilal, he would sign a €200 million, two-year contract.
