Sergio Ramos Confirmed To Be Leaving Real Madrid

Spanish journalist, Josep Pedrerol revealed Sergio Ramos will be leaving Real Madrid after all.

Contracts talks have hit a brick wall between both parties and there is no agreement in place.

“Sergio Ramos is leaving Real Madrid,” Pedrerol stated on ‘El Chiringuito’ on Sunday. “I don’t think there’s any possibility of him staying. There’s no way back.

“Real Madrid believe it’s a fact and believe that Ramos deserves to sign for whatever team he wants to earn one last big contract before finishing his career. In these circumstances, Real Madrid won’t offer him more money.”

Pedrerol believes Ramos could have accepted lower terms given the financial climate of the sport. “It’s a shame and I think Ramos is making a mistake,” he added.

“Make an effort. Take 10 percent less and sign for two years and then, if the financial situation improves, this can improve too.”

Now, we will have to wait and see when Ramos’ departure will be confirmed. Juventus. PSG, Manchester United and plenty other European outfits are after his signature. Ramos will be 35, come March.

He is currently recovering from knee surgery and won’t be available until the end of March or early weeks of April.
