Jose Mourinho Trying To Lure Ramos To Tottenham

The contract saga between Sergio Ramos and Real Madrid continue to take new twists everyday.

According to reports, the Spaniard could depart fresher patches overseas.

PSG could win the defender’s hand with a more lucrative contract, one that Real are hesitant to offer. After months of negotiations, both parties are at a standoff over his future.

Now Football Espana claims that Ramos plans on retiring at Real Madrid and is not interested in negotiating with other clubs. He is free to do so this month which means the Galacticos will still need to tread carefully.

The report suggests that Ramos is willing to postpone his salary earnings by about two or three years, a process taken upon by plenty of Barcelona players. He ideally would like a longer contract with an annual salary of €12m.

Ramos has been immense for Real and is already a club legend. Losing him at such a crucial point of his career would be a disaster. He still is the team skipper with plenty of pull in the dressing room. Zinedine Zidane still rates him highly enough and wants to keep him.

Ramos acknowledged that he has been in contact with Real president, Florentino Perez. For now, Real fans can take that as a sign for optimism. We all know PSG would be happy to sign him up to a bumper deal.
