Sergio Ramos Could Complete Manchester United Move

Sergio Ramos could leave for Manchester United. Can you really believe it?

Real Madrid continue to see roadblocks in extending the defender’s contract which is set to expire in June.

There is plenty of speculation regarding where he will end up with Paris Saint-Germain said to be favourites. Now, the Daily Mirror claims that Manchester United have indicated their interest in Ramos.

Signing him on a free deal could be a solid improvement to their backline. Plenty of clubs are chasing him with plenty of ties of English outfits. Ramos wants a hefty contract on a long-term basis which has made Real hesitant.

Florentino Perez wants to bring in the new regime without any ties to ageing players. Ramos who is 34 now is still the club captain and their best defender. While losing him would have a huge impact on the side, fulfilling his demands will be difficult too.

United spent heavy on acquiring Harry Maguire prior to the 2019/20 season. However, they have not found the right person to partner him with. There were talks of signing Raphael Varane from Real but it could be Ramos now.

Any moves from USA or Asia is reportedly not being entertained by Ramos or his representatives.
