Toni Kross expects Ramos to return to Real Madrid.

The 35-year old Real Madrid legend spent 16 years with the club and won every possible silverware in all these years.

He will leave the club when his contract expires on June 30 and is yet to decide on his future.

Toni Kroos was baffled by his former teammate’s decision to leave Santiago Bernabeu and admits that Ramos is the best captain he had throughout his career.

The German said on his brother’s podcast, ‘Einfach mal Luppen’: “I’m also sure he will be seen again at Real Madrid, whatever his role.

“It would also be negligent if you don’t get someone like that back at the club and keep him, as he can still make a difference in the future.”

He added: “I do not know Real Madrid without Sergio Ramos. It was inconceivable that this player was not going to finish his career at Real Madrid. I had hoped he would stay.”
