Belgium went out of the tournament last night after drawing with Croatia.

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will now be supporting the Spain national team after Belgium’s exit in the World Cup.

“Now I will support Spain, but I also want my Real Madrid colleagues to do well, so I also wish the best for Lukita, the Brazilians, Vinicius, Rodrygo, Rudiger. I hope everyone can go as far as they can and see the champion be one of them or more than one in December,” he said.

Later he shared his thoughts on Eden Hazard who has struggled to make an impact in the World Cup this time.

“Eden has shown he’s playing well. It’s a pity that today he only played 10 minutes. He is very good and deserves more chances. Psychologically, the substitution was a blow for him, I’m sure of that. He is a great player and can still give a lot to football,” he said.
