Kylian Mbappe touched down on yet another PSG record!
The 21 year old French World Cup winner hit 100 goals for the Parisian side last weekend and with his contract running down, there has been talks about his next move.
With Real Madrid solidly interested in his services, PSG director Leonardo has been talking about the new contract negotiations.
“We talk, we talk,” Leonardo told Canal Plus. “We want to talk, I think he too wants to discuss. It’s normal. The time comes to have a clearer idea about his future.
“We are talking quietly, things are progressing well, we have taken steps forward compared to 10-15 days ago. We will continue.”
Mbappe’s father also added weightage to the possibility of a new contract.
Quizzed on the possibility of transfer rumours becoming a distraction for the PSG striker, Mbappe Sr told Telefoot: “It cannot disturb him because he plays in a great team, and is surrounded by great players. It allows him to get closer to his dreams and his ambitions.”
PSG have a tough job on their hands keeping both Neymar and Mbappe in the club due to their financial situation.
