Out of all the players at Leicester City, midfielder Youri Tielemans looks to be the strongest candidate to move on this summer

The brilliant 24-year-old has established himself as one of the Premier League’s most dependable central midfielders since joining from Monaco in 2019.

The Belgium international, most recognised for his technical skill, passing range, and tenacious defending, looks to be on his way to a move to one of Europe’s major teams.

Real Madrid have shown an interest in the 24-year-old, who has been linked with Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal.
Los Blancos are also said to have received a boost when the hardworking midfielder told pals that he would like to play in Spain’s top division.
During his three years at the King Power Stadium, Tielemans appeared in 152 matches across all competitions, directly contributing to 36 goals.

The midfielder’s most significant contribution came in the 2020-21 FA Cup final against Chelsea, when he scored the game-winning goal.

Fans will almost certainly be unhappy to see the 24-year-old leave, but if the club can negotiate a reasonable sum, as they have in previous years with the likes of Harry Maguire heading to Manchester United, the sting of losing their number eight will be greatly softened.
