Real Madrid won 3-2 over Inter Milan during the Champions League clash with them.

Zinedine Zidane believes that the team definitely earned their points.

He said: “This was a real even Champions League match. We played well, starting really well. The second half was more difficult, but that’s normal. Then we fought to the end and deserved the win. We brought on Vinícius and Rodrygo and they were good. But everyone was good.”

There was fear of Eden Hazard being injured during the Inter Milan clash. Further, Marco Asensio and Eden Hazard were employed for the first time together in attack along with  Karim Benzema in attack. When asked about that, Zidane said:

“Asensio and Hazard have had to work really hard because they both missed a lot of time with injury. They’re working well as part of the team. They did a good job. Hazard suffered a knock in the game, but it’s nothing more.”

Zidane also had something to say to Diego Maradona. The Argentine legend is to undergo brain surgery for a blood clot.

He said: “Many people are wishing him well and I do too. I hope all goes well, for him and his family.”
