Lucas Vazquez has been regular under Ancelotti but he was part of the starting lineups on four occasions.

Real Madrid star Lucas Vazquez is looking to sign a new contract for the club. The 32-year-old has indicated that he has no desire to leave Real Madrid soon.

He has played his entire career at Real Madrid except for one season in 2014-15 when he spent a loan spell at Espanyol.

Lucas Vazquez has made 327 appearances across all competitions for Los Blancos, scoring 33 goals and providing 59 assists. He has been regular under Ancelotti but he was part of the starting lineups on four occasions.

The Spain international was preferred over Eder Militao who got injured. Vazquez spoke to the media ahead of Champions League fixture with Union Berlin. He was asked about his future and he replied: “Time goes by quickly! Yes, of course.

“Real Madrid is the dream I’ve had since I was little, it’s my home and I’m very happy here, so of course. There are good moments and bad moments. When you aren’t getting minutes or you don’t feel important, you feel bad.

“You have to keep your head cool and train to the max, knowing that you’re capable and believing in yourself. I don’t lack that. I’m at Real Madrid, where I’ve always want to be, so I will give my all for myself and for my club.”
