His equaliser against Sheriff moved him to fourth place in UEFA’s all-time goalscoring charts. The Frenchman has scored 72 goals and has now surpassed Raúl’s 71 strikes.

Madrid star has scored in each of the last 17 editions of the European competition. His first goal was recorded in the 2005/06 season against Rosenborg, for Olympique Lyon. His 60 goals have come for the Los Blancos.

The first of his 60 Madrid goals in Europe was against AC Milan in 2009. He has scored against 34 teams in this competition, and the most goals (5) came against Galatasaray. Only Ronaldo (136), Messi (121) and Lewandowski (75) are ahead of the Frenchman.
