The likelihood of Real Madrid acquiring Kylian Mbappé this summer has increased

Spanish journalist Ramón lvarez de Mon states that there have been “significant advances” in the talks and even speculates that an agreement might be reached before the start of the preseason. This latest development occurs just a few days after Mbappé’s representatives met on Wednesday with a key advisor to the Emir of Qatar to talk about his future at Paris Saint-Germain.

The PSG star was allegedly given an ultimatum by the Qatari owner to either accept a contract renewal or be sold during this summer’s transfer window.

The most recent rumour has made it clear that Madrid will now have to pay more than they had anticipated in order to sign the French forward.

Furthermore, Florentino Pérez has been setting up the club’s funds to make this transfer possible; they are still prepared to make a historic investment.

El Chiringuito first claimed that PSG had set Mbappé’s price at €200 million. According to Transfermarkt, the club has already spent €108.5 million this summer on Jude Bellingham, Fran Garca, and the loan signing of Joselu.
