Real Madrid rejected offer from Napoli for midfielder Brahim Diaz

CalcioMercato reports Napoli submitted an offer to try to lure Diaz back to Serie A.

As per the reports, Real Madrid rejected an offer during the summer window for their midfielder Brahm Diaz who was heavily linked with Serie A winner, Napoli.

The 24-year-old was back at the club after completing his 3-year loan spell with AC Milan. He showed impressive skills in the Italian top-flight last season.

The Spaniard scored 14 goals last season to help AC Milan to finish in top four in Serie A. They also reached the semi-finals of the Champions League. Diaz also helped Milan to emerge as Scudetto winners for the first time in a decade.

CalcioMercato reports Napoli submitted an offer to try to lure Diaz back to Serie A. Meanwhile, AC Milan tried to secure a permanent move for the playmaker but it didn’t work out.

The report adds Los Blancos denied any move as they wanted to keep him at the club this season. Diaz featured just 21 times in his first 18 months at Madrid.
