Real Madrid looks prepared to continue their trend of remaining relatively quiet in the next January transfer window. Despite the team’s great start to the season, in which they have excelled in La Liga, the club has decided not to pursue reinforcements.

According to MARCA, President Florentino Perez’s persistent policy of avoiding winter signings has not changed. Real Madrid has typically avoided making deals at this mid-season time over the years. This contrasts with other fans’ calls for additions in important areas such as attack and fullback, where depth is regarded necessary.

While the team has been involved in prospective moves, any substantial signings are likely to be postponed until the summer transfer window. Real Madrid want to focus on their youth program and promote promising young players for emergency scenarios rather than relying on winter purchases.

Kylian Mbappe is a long-term ambition for the club, with a potential move in the summer of 2024 in the works. Also, Erling Haaland’s situation at Manchester City is being actively observed. For the time being, Real Madrid fans will have to remain patient, as the club’s winter transfer window appears to be quiet.
