Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane has shed some light on the situation with Ramos and how happy the club is to have Hazard back to fitness!
Speaking of Hazard, Varane said, “He is a great person, with whom we can talk about everything and laugh.
“He has adapted very well to the squad. We’ve had a good time. He’s a top player and he’s going to give us a lot.
“He makes the difference, a special player. On a technical level he’s going to give us a lot.”
Varane also praised Ramos and said they are good for each other.
“I always feel more comfortable when we defend more compactly,” Varane said during Monday’s pre-match press conference.
“When the team doesn’t defend well, we have to make more complicated decisions at the back.
“It is true that we have not been good without Sergio in the Champions League. But this is a matter for all of us [to address]. “I make him better and he makes me better. But defending is a collective thing.”
Real Madrid are in spot of bother at the moment in the Champions League and will be hoping to turn things around tonight versus Inter Milan.
