Los Blancos have an edge over Barca in El Classico history but on that night, it went out in a very disappointing match for the Madridistas. It was one of the most embarrassing performances in the club’s history because it came against Barcelona.

Two teams were playing under the supervision of two of the best coaches in the world, Guardiola and Mourinho, at Camp Nou. Real Madrid were unbeaten from the last seven matches before reaching Camp Nou. It was unexpected to see Whites performing like this after such a winning streak. Xavi opened the scoring, with Pedro, David Villa, and Jefferson making it 5-0 for the home side. This loss was the worst defeat of Mourinho’s career in management.
