Luka Modric will get more playing time for the remainder of the season, according to Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti
Carlo Ancelotti after Modric has started just one La Liga game this season after seeing his minutes rapidly decline last year, and he recently said it was “strange” to be watching Madrid games from the sidelines these days.
As his hometown club Dinamo Zagreb prepares to ponder an ambitious move in January, Modric has also admitted that he may have to think about his future at the club if he does not receive more playing time.
In order to prevent matters from getting to this point, Ancelotti has committed to give Modric more playing time as the season progresses.
On Sunday, when Madrid take on Real Sociedad, Carlo Ancelotti acknowledged that he is prepared to begin rotating his team’s playing time.
Madrid is the only team in La Liga with a perfect start to the current season and leads Barcelona by two points going into the weekend’s games. On Saturday night, Real Betis will face Xavi’s team.
