Chelsea are on the lookout for their next permanent manager.
Frank Lampard was appointed as the interim Chelsea manager after the sack of Graham Potter at the start of April.
The Blues are on the lookout for a permanent appointment this summer and have identified Julian Nagelsmann, Luis Enrique and Mauricio Pochettino as potential targets.
Real Madrid knocked Chelsea out of the Champions League with a 4-0 aggregate in the quarter-finals.
Ancelotti has previously guided Chelsea to a Premier League and FA Cup win back in 2010.
But ex-Blues player Emmanuel Petit wants Carlo Ancelotti to return to Chelsea this summer.
‘There are so many managers linked with Chelsea,’ Petit told LegalSportsBooks. ‘Every day you open the newspapers, then you hear it on the radio and the television that there are five or six different managers in the frame.
‘I would love to see Carlo Ancelotti apply for the Chelsea job, but he said last week that he won’t come back to England, he won’t come back to Chelsea.
‘Maybe he’s a bit tired. He has won everything. Maybe he’s very close to retirement, I have no idea.’
