Real Madrid may lose another quality player this summer as Los Blancos skipper Nacho Fernandez has reportedly made the decision to depart the club at the end of the season amid interest from various European clubs like Inter Milan.
Nacho replaced Karim Benzema in captain’s duty and helped the club to reach another Champions League semifinals. He had the responsibility after Benzema’s departure.
The 34-year-old has been an integral part of Madrid’s first-team setup for over a decade. He has a breath chance to complete a treble this season. They already won Supercopa de Espana and La Liga is going to Real Madrid this season. They will also eye Champions League glory.
As per reports of Marca, the Spaniard has decided to leave the club at the end of the season. His contract with Real Madrid is set to expire at the end of the season.
The report adds that Inter Milan were interested in signing the 34-year-old last season and could revisit the possibility of taking him to the Serie A. Real Madrid are targeting Lille teenager Leny Yoro as an ideal replacement for him.
