David Alaba is pressing Alphonso Davies to join him at Real Madrid
The Canadian international is good buddies with the former Bayern Munich star, who joined Real after leaving Bayern in 2021.
Real are interested in the 22-year-old, but a summer transfer deal is still improbable. The wingback, according to Bayern, is not for sale. The Spanish are still interested in signing Davies, but they will likely make their move in the summer of 2024.
Due to a string of injuries, Davies has had difficulty getting into games in the second part of the season. This season, the young player has played 38 games in all competitions, scoring two goals and assisting eight others.
Without a doubt, Thomas Tuchel will have ambitions for Davies throughout the upcoming Bundesliga season. If the Canadian has another outstanding campaign, Real and other elite teams will probably be interested in signing him. Alaba’s remarks might give Real the upper hand if Davies decides to relocate.
Davies’ current contract is valid until June 2025.
