According to trade specialist Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid is planning to extend Eduardo Camavinga’s contract

Camavinga has recently established himself as a consistent starter, even though he is playing left-back, which is alien to him. The 20-year-old, who arrived in Madrid two years ago full of promise, is now beginning to deliver after experiencing a difficult few months.

Camavinga had trouble getting playing time towards the conclusion of 2022, which prompted to rumours that he would sign a loan deal with Arsenal during the January transfer window.

However, Camavinga’s representative Jonathan Barnett has already brushed down those claims while also discussing his client’s new position in the starting XI.

Despite the fact that Camavinga’s Madrid contract is only good until 2027, Los Blancos are now trying to lock him into a new one. The French international’s pay is expected to increase, and his release clause will also be raised.

The futures of Madrid’s main players are actively being worked on, with Toni Kroos expected to stay at Santiago Bernabeu for an additional season. As his current deal enters its final few months, top scorer Karim Benzema is also anticipated to sign a contract extension.
