Juventus are looking to strengthen their defensive department

This summer, Juventus passed up the chance to sign Antonio Rudiger on a free transfer from Chelsea.

According to the source, Real Madrid has agreed to a four-year contract with the German defender. With Giorgio Chiellini eyeing a move to Major League Soccer this summer, the situation only seems tougher for Juventus.

The Chelsea defender decided to leave the club in the summer as confirmed by Tuchel in his last press conference.

But Simon Jordan states his wage demands are very high and Chelsea will be better off without the German defender.

In his new deal with Real Madrid, the star would allegedly receive a net income of roughly €12 million every season. It is reported that Juventus are not the only side who did not sign Rudiger, with Manchester United facing a similar outcome in their pursuit of the defender.

He desired to join a team that competes in the Champions League on a regular basis. As a result, he has picked Real Madrid, according to the Italian journalist.
