Benzema was on the radar of Real Madrid for a potential loan transfer.
Karim Benzema will not leave his club, Al Ittihad in the January transfer window as the former Real Madrid player will stay until at least the summer.
There were some rumours that Benzema would leave the Saudi club and find some challenges in the European club. The 36-year-old decided against signing a new contract with Real Madrid last year and moved to the Middle East.
Benzema signed a three-year contract with Al Ittiahd but it looks possible to see him playing him for a new club at the end of the season. He has scored 12 times and provided five assists in 20 appearances for his current side.

There were some reports that Real Madrid could sign him in January on loan due to the lack of a striker option. Los Blancos are already planning for Kylian Mbappe but this move can only happen in the summer.
Benzema was also on the radar of clubs like Lyon, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United. Now, The Athletic reported that the Frenchman will remain with Al-Ittihad beyond the end of the season.
