Luka Jovic Determined To Prove Doubters Wrong At Real Madrid

Luka Jovic has not given up on his Real Madrid career.

Since moving to the Spanish capital, the Serbian managed just 2 goals across 18 months.

He was shipped back to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan last January, where he scored 27 goals in 47 games in the 2019/20 season. Real spent €60m on his services but never got see him at his best.

Jovic, however, feels he still has a chance of staying at Madrid. He told Dario AS, “Failure is not an option for me. It never has been. Pressure is an essential part of any business. Especially in professional football.

“I have no problem with it. I like challenges, I love competing with the best. I know how much I am worth and what my qualities are and it’s important to remember I am a Real Madrid player.”

Jovic has gone on to rediscover his goal-scoring form at the Deutsche Bank Park. He plans on returning to Madrid and prove a point to Zinedine Zidane. Real don’t exactly have any immediate replacements for him, seeing how their finances are in a tragic state.

The Galacticos are hoping to sign either of Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland in the future. If either were to come to the Bernabeu, Jovic’s time there could come to an end.
