Real Madrid star Marco Asensio confirms he’s leaving the club.

The 27-year-old attacker will end his eight-year spell with Los Blancos and is widely expected to join PSG on a free transfer.

He has won three Champions League, four Club World Cups, three Leagues, three European Super Cups, one Copa del Rey and three Spanish Super Cups.

Sources confirmed that Aston Villa, Juventus and AC Milan have also shown interest in the Spaniard in recent months but PSG are already finalising the deal.

Asensio understood his role at Real Madrid has diminished over the past few seasons and an exit was imminent for the attacker.

A club statement read: “Real Madrid would like to express its gratitude and affection to Marco Asensio, a player who has defended our badge and our colours for seven seasons.

As madridistas we will never forget his career and his outstanding conduct during all this time. Real Madrid is and will always be his home, and we wish him and all his family the best of luck in this new chapter in his career.”
