No Real Madrid player included in Euro 2020 Spain squad.
Spain manager Luis Enrique opted to not select any Real Madrid players from his 24-man squad for the Euros.
The 35-year old Real Madrid captain has struggled with injuries this season and played only five games since the start of this year.
The absence of Ramos means not a single player from Real Madrid in the Spain squad.
Spain for the first time would go to an international tournament without any players from Real Madrid.
However, Man City centre-back Aymeric Laporte who recently changed his nationality to Spain was included in the 24-man squad.

“It was a very difficult decision but he [Ramos] has not been able to play this season and has hardly trained since January,” said manager Luis Enrique.
“I called him yesterday [Sunday] – it was hard, difficult.
“I feel bad, because he is very professional and he helps the national team a lot. And he can still help it in the future. But I have to look for the best for the squad.”
