The Austrian talent showed some solid performances at the centre of Real Madrid’s backline. He has registered one assist in four games for the Spanish club during this campaign in La Liga.
David Alaba’s current contract at the Santiago Bernabeu will end in the summer of 2026. Carlo Ancelotti is also under no pressure to let him go this January.
The Austrian defender is a good tackler of the ball and he doesn’t mind clearing the danger when required. Alaba has still got plenty of football left in him. Ancelotti simply cannot afford to lose a player of his quality in 2024.
