La Liga champions are not currently considering offering Borja Mayoral a contract renewal.
According to Marca, Mayoral is up for sale, as Real Madrid have set his price tag at 10 million euros. His departure can’t be taken for granted, as the Spanish striker wants to stay.
The Los Blancos loaned him out in the last few seasons, but they are willing to cash in on the player.
Mayoral will discuss things with Carlo Ancelotti, who has been keeping a close eye on him since the start of the pre-season.
Mayoral had a dull season in 2021/22 and joined Getafe in January. He scored six goals and registered one assist in six months to help Getafe secure safety.
Getafe are looking to sign him permanently as La Liga champions are not currently considering offering him a contract renewal. Los Azulones are willing to meet Real Madrid’s demands and offer the striker a contract until 2027.
Celta Vigo are also interested in signing Mayoral along with two Serie A clubs.
