Real Madrid leading the race for Botafogo forward Matheus Nascimento

Nascimento will see his contract expiring at Botafogo at the end of 2025.

According to a fresh report from Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid are leading the race for Botafogo forward Matheus Nascimento. It has been added that Los Blancos could face competition from the Blues in pursuit of the gifted striker.

The 18-year-old has come through the youth ranks of Botafogo and deserves credit for successfully establishing himself as a key member of their senior team.

Nascimento has featured for 56 times for the Brazilian club so far, scoring eight goals and providing two assists on all fronts.

The Rio de Janeiro-born talent will see his contract expiring at Botafogo at the end of 2025. Therefore, Ancelotti will have to make a big offer if he wants to bring him to the Spanish capital next year.

The young Brazilian sensation has a knack for scoring important goals for his team and can make some clever runs in and around the opponent’s penalty box.

Nascimento will have to prove his worth for the Madrid club‘s B team if Carlo Ancelotti can find a way to win the race for him. He is still quite inexperienced at the highest level and would need time to adapt to life in Spanish football.
