Luis Enrique has started compiling a list of requests for the Parisian hierarchy as he moves closer to reaching an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain

Greater clarity will be seen in the club’s transfer market plan once PSG can finalise the facts of Christophe Galtier’s exit and officially announce Enrique’s arrival to the public. However, some information has already surfaced.

SPORT reports that Enrique has reportedly requested the board of his prospective future club to recruit Real Madrid attacking prodigy Rodrygo.

The former Barcelona manager has been in Paris for two days working to assess the needs of the team and the problem with Kylian Mbappe’s uncertain future. And one of the first things he asks of him is that they go after Rodrygo. According to the report, Enrique, who was in negotiations to be hired by Chelsea, approached the English team with a similar request and listed Rodrygo’s presence as one of the prerequisites for his hiring.

Real Madrid sent a note stating that Rodrygo was not for sale and that they would not be opening discussions. The player’s contract with the Royal Whites expires in 2025, but it is believed that a long-term renewal is already in place. Rodrygo asserted that he was prepared to accept responsibility and the weight that coming into possession of the iconic number 11 jersey number entailed. It is anticipated that he will play an even bigger role up front now that Benzema has left.

Along with the player’s wish to remain at Merengues, Real Madrid previously ruled out the possibility of working on a transfer deal with PSG, a club with which they have already experienced difficulties in negotiations. Real Madrid does not consider the possibility of include Rodrygo in the transaction, despite their desire in signing Kylian Mbappe from PSG. Rodrygo continues to be one of the cornerstones of Florentino Perez’s ambitions for the present and the future.
