In the annals of modern football, Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti will be regarded as two of the greatest managers
The two have established themselves as football management legends by guiding leading teams in Europe to their pinnacle.
Both coaches have a great deal of respect for one another’s achievements, despite the fact that they have frequently competed against one another throughout their illustrious careers.
In a recent interview with TNT Sports, Manchester City’s head coach talked about Ancelotti’s impressive UEFA Champions League record and pondered whether he could close the gap.
Guardiola remarked, “I cannot beat him because he has won three or four more football titles than I have. “When it comes to Champions League trophies, Ancelotti is unbeatable. Since I’m younger, I have more time, but it’s not a target, really.
With four Champions League championships under his belt, Ancelotti is the most successful coach in the competition’s history. Two of these triumphs were obtained when he was a player for AC Milan, while the other two were obtained while he was a player for Real Madrid.
