Eden Hazard Won't Recover In Time For Liverpool Fixture

Eden Hazard will not be returning in time for the Champions League tie against Liverpool.

The Belgian star who has missed majority of the campaign with slight niggles is due to be dropped from another important tie. Real Madrid did get a positive outcome in the first leg meeting against Liverpool.

Goals from Vinicius Junior and Marco Asensio saw the Galacticos take a 3-1 lead in the Champions League quarter-final. In Hazard’s absence, Vinicius seems to be flourishing under Zinedine Zidane. The last time Hazard featured for Real was as a substitute against Elche in March.

He returned after a two-month injury layoff only to be sidelined once again. His muscles injuries continue to disrupt his career in Spain. Till date, fans have not seen enough of the €120m signing and are ready to write him off completely.

Of course, given his talents, his return would be a huge boost for the remainder of the campaign. Los Blancos are in a strong position to retain their title and are also fighting in Europe. They have found a decent bit of form, beating Barcelona 2-1 in the El Clasico as well.
