Real Madrid has been linked with Mbappe from the last two transfer windows. The 25-year-old is planning to make a move to the Spanish capital.
Real Madrid made a bid of €200m in the 2021 summer transfer window. They were on the verge of signing Mbappe on a free transfer in 2022. The Frenchman penned down an unexpected contract extension with PSG.
In the previous summer window, Mbappe again planned a departure from PSG but it didn’t happen. He informed PSG that he would not trigger the 12-month extension option in his contract. His contract will expire at the end of the season.
Saudi club, Al Hilal made a world-record €300m bid for the World Cup winner. He showed no desire to move to the Middle East. Real Madrid will now make the final move in the summer of 2024. Liverpool are also planning to sign the Frenchman and it could be interesting to see the final end.
