Arda Güler is being hailed as Turkey’s “next big thing,” and numerous European teams, including Real Madrid, are showing interest in the Fenerbaçhe offensive midfielder

The kid from Turky has played 35 times for Fenerbaçhe last season, scoring six goals and dishing up seven assists on a plate for his teammates.

In what might have been his last game for the club, the 18-year-old provided an assist and won Man of the Match in the Turkish Cup final.

Clubs are lining up to sign the youthful star, who has been compared to Mesut zil, with a release clause of €18 million. According to AS, among the interested parties are Real Madrid, Sevilla, Benfica, Inter, Milan, and a number of Premier League clubs.

Erol Tokgözler, Güler’s former coach, revealed in a radio interview with Radyo Gol in Turkey that he recently spoke with the player’s father.

“From what I gather from his father, [his destination] appears to be Germany. Leipzig or Dortmund may be the team,” Tokgözer stated.
