Toni Kroos has extended his contract until the summer of 2024.

The German midfielder decided to stay the Santiago Bernabeu for one more season as his deal was to set expire next week.

He had made 30 league appearances last season and scored two goals in the process.

The veteran midfielder is expected to face competition with the arrival of Jude Bellingham this summer.

Kroos’ partner Luka Modric is expected to follow suit and extend his deal for one more season.
