La Liga president Javier Tebas has claimed that Real Madrid have the financial power to sign both Kylian Mbappe and Erling Braut Haaland this summer

Mbappe is a priority for Los Blancos, since his contract with PSG expires this summer.

Haaland of Borussia Dortmund has also been highlighted as a potential marquee acquisition by Real Madrid. However, they may face stiff competition from Barcelona, Manchester City, and Paris Saint-Germain. Barcelona is also keen on securing the Norwegian. Club president Joan Laporta understands that Real Madrid has the upper hand in the race to recruit one of the world’s finest players.

The Catalan club, on the other hand, is said to be willing to pay his €75 million release clause as well as the commission that his agent, Mino Raiola, and father would seek. Barcelona will try to entice Haaland to Camp Nou by paying him €20 million each season.

While Mbappe may be acquired for nothing, Haaland’s transfer will cost a substantial fee, with his £68 million release clause expected to become live at the conclusion of the season.

According to a recent report from the Independent, PSG is finalising a massive new contract for Mbappe that may see him become the world’s highest-paid player.

The 23-year-old, who scored a last-second winner against Real Madrid in the Champions League on midweek, has remained tight-lipped regarding his future.

Tebas believes Los Merengues have the financial clout to recruit the two young superstars, but believes Barcelona and Juventus would struggle to compete.
