Los Blancos have put their long-term push for the services of Alphonso Davies.

Real Madrid have halted their efforts to sign Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich as contract talks in Germany stall. He has been heavily linked with the Los Blancos.

The 23-year-old made the switch from MLS outfit Vancouver Whitecaps in December 2018. He has been outstanding for the club, providing four goal from defence in 21 Bundesliga appearances.

According to the reports of MARCA, Los Blancos have put their long-term push for the services of the Canada international on hold as a situation involving current club Bayern Munich unfolds.

The report adds that the German club have placed a contract offer for him and he is yet to agree to fresh terms in Bundesliga.

Bayern Munich are aware that Davies can leave the club at the end of the season. They will ask for big asking price for the player which is around the €50m (£42.8m).

Real Madrid are also monitoring Jamal Musiala who has scored 10 goals in 21 league matches for Bayern this season.
