Haaland has a release clause of €200 million which starts next summer.

The forward position is the major concern for Real Madrid and they are keen to get one top striker in the upcoming summer window. The Los Blancos spent a long time on the transfer market in the recent summer.

They made efforts for Kylian Mbappe, Victor Osimhen, Harry Kane, and Dusan Vlahovic last summer but it didn’t work out. Mbappe was their prime target but he continued with PSG this season.

As per the reports of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Spanish giants are monitoring the situation of Erling Haaland at Manchester City. Their regular monitoring put Man City in trouble and the Premier League club are planning to extend the contract of the Norway international.

Haaland has a release clause of €200 million which starts in next summer. It will further reduce in the coming seasons to €175 million and then €150 million.

The English club have developed their own plan of action to avoid the possibility of their best player’s departure. They are planning to extend the contract of the Norweigan until 2028. The new deal would also include a raise from the €400,000 a week package he is currently on.
