Real Madrid offered chance to sign Man City midfielder Kalvin Phillips in January

Kalvin Phillips still has five years remaining on his contract at the Etihad.

Real Madrid have been offered the chance to sign Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips in the winter transfer window. The 27-year-old is likely to leave the Etihad in 2024.

The England international is facing an uncertain future at the Etihad Stadium. He made the summer move last year from his boyhood club Leeds United.

Manchester City midfielder has started only five of his 27 appearances across all competitions. Rodri, Mateo Kovacic, Matheus Nunes, Bernardo Silva, John Stones and Rico Lewis are in the pecking order.

Phillips has featured for just 168 minutes across six appearances for the club so far this season. He still has five years remaining on his contract at the Etihad.

Real Madrid are planning to add the midfielder to give support to Jude Bellingham. Bellingham has scored 13 goals across all competitions. Luka Modric is just 38 years old and Toni Kroos is 33 years old. Both will leave the club in the summer.
