Alphonso Davies is high on Real Madrid’s radar this summer.

The Galacticos are keen to sign a new left-back as Ferland Mendy is expected to make a move at the end of the current campaign.

Real Madrid have identified Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies as their next big target in the summer.

The Canadian international has entered the final 18 months of his contract with the Bavarians keen to tie the defender in a new deal.

Multiple clubs are monitoring Davies’ situation in Germany who has been established as one of the best full-backs of this generation.

Carlo Ancelotti recently extended his contract with Real Madrid and will be hoping to rebuild and refresh the squad next summer.

Bayern Munich are reluctant to sell one of the best players in the squad but could be tempted to sell for anywhere in the region of €50 million.

But journalist David Ornstein has revealed that the left-back could sign a new deal at Bayern amid interest from Real Madrid in recent months.

Ornstein said: “The Real Madrid interest is well documented, but the last I heard the Bayern Munich contract proposal was superior. So unless that has changed or does subsequently, the expectation is that he will renew.”
