Karim Benzema is leading the race for the Ballon d’Or this year.
The Frenchman scored 44 goals in 46 appearances in all competitions and won the Champions League and La Liga with Real Madrid last season.
The striker was the standout performer in the Champions League scoring 15 goals in just 12 appearances.
Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane who has a close relationship with Benzema believes the Frenchman is currently the most complete attacking player in the world.
He went on describing him as his ‘little brother’ and backs him to win the coveted Ballon d’Or this year.

Zidane said to Marca : “Karim is like the little brother I never had. We send each other messages. I’m not surprised by what he’s doing. I knew he was capable of that. He has always been very good at Madrid. He’s simply exceptional. Will he win the Ballon d’Or this year? Top prize? Not only do I think that, but the whole world says it.”
