DC United are being linked with Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale. The Welsh international is set to leave the Los Blancos this summer when his contract runs out.
Bale is starting to look for a new club and he may find his next home in the US. The Madrid striker are on the radar of Major League Soccer side DC United.
Their interest is serious enough that the DC United is already in talks with Bale’s representatives.
The Washington Post‘s Steven Goff reports the two parties spoke months ago and are now exchanging proposals.
If Bale were to move to DC United, he’d earn more than Wayne Rooney did when he joined the team in 2018. DC United are happy with how that experience with an older European player went and they’d be keen to repeat it.
