Camavinga will now need to be assessed to determine the extent of the damage.

Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga faces an injury ahead of La Liga and Champions League clashes. He was forced off during France’s international friendly contest against Chile on Tuesday.

The Frenchman was substituted in the latter stages of the first half in Marseille, and he looked in discomfort when he departed the field.

As per the journalist Fabrice Hawkins, the 21-year-old sprained his ankle during the game, and he will now need to be assessed to determine the extent of the damage.

Camavinga has been in good touch for Madrid this season and made 32 appearances for the club under Ancelotti. He might be seen in France’s squad for the upcoming Euro 2024.

Camavinga also picked up a knee injury during the November international break and went on to miss eight matches for Real Madrid.

Real Madrid will take on Athletic Bilbao on Sunday in La Liga and then, they meet Manchester City at Bernabeu for the first leg of Champions League quarter-final.
