Sergio Arribas, a graduate of the Real Madrid academy, is right now one of Spanish football’s most exciting possibilities

The young player, an attacking midfielder by trade, had the most goals for Real Madrid Castilla last season and has enjoyed a quick ascent to fame in recent years. Because of his performance in the junior competitions, Arribas has made 14 appearances for Real Madrid’s senior team and has scored one goal during those games.

Everything pointed to him having a bigger role in the senior team for the upcoming season, especially with Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio gone. However, that was before Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler were signed by Real Madrid during the summer transfer window, and Brahim Diaz also returned from his loan assignment at AC Milan.

Numerous clubs in Spain and throughout Europe have expressed interest in signing Arribas ahead of the upcoming campaign, taking into account the young player’s unclear future at the Bernabeu. One of them, according to Mundo Deportivo, is Mallorca. The Real Madrid youngster is reportedly being sought after by the Spanish team as a potential replacement for Kang-in Lee, who just joined PSG.

Along with Mallorca, Sevilla is also interested in hiring Arribas this summer and will pursue the player if they are able to get rid of Oliver Torres soon. Another Spanish team interested in the Real Madrid talent as he seeks to advance in his career is Almeria. Bayer Leverkusen has been keeping an eye on the progress of the offensive midfielder outside of Spain.

The 21-year-old is a major favourite of their head coach Xabi Alonso, who wants him to join the Bundesliga this summer. Arribas’ 50% rights are valued at €10 million by Real Madrid, and it is unclear whether Mallorca or any other team would be willing to fulfil that demand.
