Concerns are starting to surface within the Real Madrid camp as a result of the commotion around Carlo Ancelotti and his rumoured selection as the Brazil national team manager starting in 2019

Ednaldo Rodrigues, head of the Brazil Football Confederation (CBF), has been quite open about his organization’s pursuit of Ancelotti and even seemed to confirm the Italian’s employment beginning in the next year in a recent interview.

However, some people are worried about Ancelotti and his drive at Real Madrid going into the upcoming campaign because of his recurrent comments regarding the issue in the media.

As a result, according to The Athletic, Ancelotti has not yet signed a contract with Brazil, and his entourage continues to refute allegations that a verbal agreement has been reached for him to take over as Selecao coach in 2019.

Real Madrid’s worries are understandable, especially in light of the ongoing media speculation on the matter. With a new, youthful roster and without Karim Benzema, the club believes there could be more problems in the future season as well. Ancelotti experienced some issues in his second season back at the club. Additionally, the club would not rule out the prospect of letting Ancelotti go even before his contract expires in 2024 if the season gets off to a disastrous start.

Real Madrid had always been Ancelotti’s top priority, and he had aspirations of retiring at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, sources close to the Italian claim that his desire to finish his career with Los Blancos has dimmed and that he may now move to Brazil. The 64-year-old would be more than happy to sign a new contract from Real Madrid, though, if things go well the next season. Given the commotion around the manager’s future before to the start of the season, the scenario is far from ideal. Additionally, Ancelotti’s job might be in jeopardy if he makes a mistake in the early stages of the campaign.
