Eden Hazard is currently in his best shape since leaving Chelsea.

The Belgium international has failed to live up to his big-money move from Stamford Bridge to Santiago Bernabeu in 2019.

His game at Madrid has been restricted due to lack of form and injury.

Hazard started only four of 12 La Liga games for Real Madrid this season.

His international coach Roberto Martinez has suggested that the Belgian is unhappy at Chelsea but wants Madrid to stand by the player.

Martinez also suggested that the 30-year old is in the best shape of his career.

‘Hazard is medically in his best moment since he arrived at Real Madrid,’ Martinez said on COPE’s show El Partidazo.

‘He is sad in football terms, this is the first time that he is experiencing this situation.

‘He is a player who has always led winning projects and now he doesn’t have that role, but he is a footballer of exceptional talent and that is never lost, you have to have faith in him.’
