Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has hinted that Isco might leave for the Gunners.

The Real Madrid midfielder has been on the first team fringes for quite some time now and it is now being talked about that Isco will leave for the Premier League.

After their second consecutive win after two months, Gunners boss Arteta confirmed that Arsenal’s transfer strategy will not change despite the wins – hinting at arrivals over January.

The Arsenal manager was asked specifically about the prospect of signing out-of-favour Real Madrid playmaker Isco but added: “Obviously we cannot talk about individual players.”

Arteta is keen to keep the players guessing and added by telling reporters: “I would like everybody to be cautious.”

The message will be a welcome sign for Gunners fans who are desperate on getting new players over to their team.

However, for Madrid, Isco will be a loss. While it is true, he has not clicked under Zinedine Zidane, it cannot be forgotten that he is a tremendous talent and with Casemiro, Kroos and Modric getting old, he was expected to take over the baton.

It all now remains to be seen how much Madrid charge for him should Arsenal come calling.
