Milan has asked for a reduced fee for signing Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid

Brahim Diaz, who started his adventure in the summer of 2021, is currently in the middle of his second year at Milan

Brahim has shown to be quite beneficial to Stefano Pioli, it is safe be said.

However, Milan is looking into options to keep him permanently since his loan agreement expires in June. Given their investments in players like Yacine Adli and Charles De Ketelaere, Milan now feels that the previously agreed upon sum of €22 million is excessive, as Daniele Longo writes on CalcioMercato.

The transfer of a former Manchester City young product is expected to be discussed soon, as was previously reported during the transfer season.

It has been noted that Paolo Maldini now hopes to lower this sum to a more affordable price, enabling Milan to keep Brahim on a long-term basis.

Since Brahim has made 16 league appearances for Milan this season, which is a decent performance, Carlo Ancelotti would probably be thrilled to have a player like Brahim in his team should Milan decide not to pay up.
