“This is another example of the lack of respect for PSG and for Mbappe,” Leonardo addressed

PSG chief Leonardo has hit out at Real Madrid president over signing Kylian Mbappe. The PSG sporting director opened up on a lack of respect from Real Madrid relating to Mbappe.

“This is another example of the lack of respect for PSG and for Mbappe,” Leonardo addressed in an interview with L’Equipe.

PSG chief also stated, “In fact, in the same week a Real Madrid player (Karim Benzema), then the Real Madrid coach (Carlo Ancelotti) and now the president (Florentino Perez) talk about Kylian as if he was already one of their own. I repeat: this is a lack of respect that we cannot tolerate.”

This statement comes after Florentino Perez had intimated that there will soon be an agreement for Real Madrid to sign Mbappe. The Real Madrid president told El Debate, “In January we will have news about Mbappe. We hope that on January 1 everything can be sorted out.”

“My words were misinterpreted. What I said is that we have to wait until next year to find out, always with respect for PSG, with whom we have a good relationship,” Florentino Perez also added.

Edinson Cavani is struggling at Old Trafford since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester United forward Edinson Cavani is also back in the transfer talks. In a recent report, Mundo Deportivo claimed that Real Madrid are open to a January move for Edinson Cavani. Spanish giants are interested in recalling the 34-year-old forward when the next transfer window reopens.

The Uruguay international is struggling at Old Trafford since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo last summer. The 34-year-old forward appeared in only four matches for the Red Devils and he is yet to find his name on the scoresheet.

The former Los Blancos forward has netted 17 goals and provided six assists in 43 appearances for Man United so far. Real Madrid would get a boost in their attacking talent if they get Edinson Cavani. The experience of the Uruguayan striker will help Carlo Ancelotti to find the best lineup.

Torres is linked with Premier League clubs Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Real Madrid are reportedly interested to sign Villarreal centre-back Pau Torres next summer. Torres is linked with Premier League clubs Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. The 24-year-old defender is linked with a move away from the Yellow Submarine.

Torres recently said that he rejected the chance to leave Villarreal over the summer. The Spain international wanted to spend at least one more year with Unai Emery’s side.

Europa League champions are unlikely to keep hold of the 24-year-old defender on a long-term basis. According to Marca, Real Madrid find him as the potential replacement for Sergio Ramos who left Madrid for PSG last summer. Raphael Varane was also sold to Manchester United and David Alaba moved to Bernabeu on a free transfer.

Pau has a €50m (£43m) release clause in his current deal. Villarreal centre-back has made seven appearances in the season 2021-22.

David Alaba arrived at the Bernabeu over the summer on a free transfer, but Ramos was allowed to leave following the expiration of his deal, while Raphael Varane was sold to Manchester United.

Toni Kroos happy to welcome Mbappe at Real Madrid.

The German playmaker has played with some of the best players in the world at Real Madrid.

He believes Kylian Mbappe, one of the best players currently needs to play for the Spanish giants.

Real Madrid failed to secure a deal for the Frenchman this year whose contract expires next summer.

Mbappe has already expressed his desire to join Los Blancos and fans all over are excited to see what the future holds for him.

Kroos told Goal: “In the summer I already said that I would like a player like him to come, but if he doesn’t we have a good team.

“Let’s see what happens in the future, it is difficult for me to say because I am not the one who decides. His quality has not changed, he is a good player and what we know is that Madrid wanted to sign him but in the end they didn’t succeed.

“Everything continues, also without Mbappe here. I think we are doing well and for the future my opinion has not changed: the best players have to be at Madrid and he is sure to be one of them.”

Nacho wants the team to improve defensively this season.

The Real Madrid centre-back has become one of the key members of the back-line.

He already has become a starter this season and believes they will have a good Champions League campaign this year.

Nacho explains: “We’ve had eight matches and I’ve only missed one and that was due to injury. If you look at those stats then yes, I think I am a starter. But, it’s true that there have also been a lot of injuries. I can better answer this question at the end of the season.

“I just want to play as many matches as possible and to fight to play at centre-back, which is the position I like best. I can play other positions too and that’s why I’ve played full-back, but the coach knows my best position is centre-back.”

Real Madrid will be facing Moldova debutants, Sheriff Tiraspol, on Tuesday night for their group-stage Champions League clash.

Kylian Mbappe will be a free agent by next summer.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is confident of signing Kylian Mbappe next summer when the Frenchman’s contract with PSG expires.

Mbappe will be allowed to sign a pre-contract with any club in the January transfer window who has less than a year remaining on his current deal.

According to reports, Perez apparently told a fan that Mbappe will join Los Blancos next summer as Madrid are eyeing a six-year long-term contract for the French superstar.

But PSG sporting director Leonardo has suggested Mbappe will not leave the French capital and will agree on a new deal with PSG.

“The fact that he’s staying, that was the only thing that could happen. We never thought about doing all this without Kylian. We were not happy with the behaviour of Real Madrid,” Leonardo told Canal Plus.

“We were clear about the offer they made. It was not enough from our point of view. It was less than what we paid. As for their last offer, it never arrived.

“I don’t see Kylian leaving at the end of this season. Mbappe’s relationship with PSG is deep. I don’t think anyone here sees the future without him.”

Ancelotti’s side failed to score a goal across the 90 minutes against Yellow Submarine.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti admits that his side struggled last night as they were held for a goalless draw at home against Villarreal. Spanish giants are still unbeaten in La Liga 2021-22 but dropping two points may create trouble for them in the points table.

Ancelotti’s side failed to score a goal across the 90 minutes against Yellow Submarine. Chances occurred at both ends but it didn’t get convert.

Carlo Ancelotti said, “We have not played our best game of the season. The Villarreal keeper has played well and we have had difficulty to create chances.” He also adds, “We had problems in creating pressure on the opponents in the first half. We played with a three-man midfield but with Modric, later in the second half it was better.”

Real Madrid will now return to UEFA action and will host Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol on Tuesday night in the Champions League. They return to La Liga next weekend with a trip to Espanyol.

Marco Asensio scored a breathtaking hat-trick against Mallorca.

The Spaniard has been limited to just four substitute appearances for Los Blancos this season.

He has been recently linked with a move to Premier League giants Liverpool.

His performance against Mallorca made a statement and showed what he can do if he gets more minutes playing forward.

“We’re all very engaged and committed, it’s easy to tell. We are looking forward to completing a great season. [Coach] Ancelotti can count on me, I’m ready. There’s a lot of competition for minutes. The position I played in tonight is a good one for me and I will play wherever coach wants me to do so,” said Asensio.

“I’m delighted. I had the opportunity to play from the start and I knew I had to take my chance. I’ve worked really hard for this moment to come. I’m pleased with the win, the goals and that we‘ve been able to keep the run going. It was a special game for me. Mallorca is a club that’s close to my heart, as I started out there. They’ve a good start to the season and I hope they do well in the rest of it,” he added.

“Everyone knows what I think of him, putting together a lineup is complicated,” Ancelotti said.

“It may be that he’s unhappy, that’s normal. It would be abnormal for a player who doesn’t play to be happy. If Asensio, Isco, [Luka] Jovic aren’t happy, that’s fine. They don’t have to be. He trains well, and I like that

“If everyone is plugged in they’ll have minutes. Isco and Jovic changed the dynamic of the team when they came on.”
