Kylian Mbappe To Begin Negotiations With Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappe To Begin Negotiations With Real Madrid

It is not all well and sound at Paris Saint-Germain this season.

Despite overseeing an incredible transfer window, there seems to be an air of negativity around Kylian Mbappe.

PSG introduced Lionel Messi and fellow new signings Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos, Gini Wijnaldum and Achraf Hakimi this summer. Football fans are excited to see Neymar and Messi teaming up in the front three alongside Mbappe.

But Mbappe is stalling on a contract extension. There is no guarantee that he will stay beyond this season. When his name was called out prior to the 4-2 win over Strasbourg this weekend, we all heard clear boos from around the stadium.

Real Madrid are clear favourites to land the Frenchman but will the transfer saga start this very summer? The Galacticos are on to a new era and looking for the next superstar signing. Carlo Ancelotti’s men beat Alaves 4-1 on Sunday as Eden Hazard said: “We’re pleased with our performance.

“We managed to score four goals today and we’re going to give it everything in every game. We’re here to score goals and by working for each other we can have a great season.

“The most important thing is that we’re united as a team and we have to make sure we get the three points in every game.”

Real Madrid will take civil and criminal legal action against Javier Tebas over the CVC investment deal.

CVC will inject 2.7 billion euros in the league in exchange for a 10% stake and 10% revenue in most of its business.

La Liga will need two-thirds of the 42 voting members to get the deal pass through.

Real Madrid will do everything in favour to prevent the deal from taking place.

A club statement read: “Real Madrid C.F. Board of Directors unanimously agreed to initiate both civil and criminal legal action against the LaLiga President, Mr Javier Tebas Medrano, Mr Javier de Jaime Guijarro, head of the CVC Fund, and against the CVC Capital Partners SICAV-FIS Fund itself.

“In addition, the Board of Directors has resolved to take any legal action it considers appropriate to annul and render ineffective any possible resolutions adopted by the LaLiga Assembly, due to be held on Aug. 12 2021, in relation to the agreement between LaLiga and the CVC Fund.”

Real Madrid were unaware of the €2.7bn deal between La Liga and CVC fund.

Real Madrid will examine the deal at the La Liga office that went through with private equity firm CVC.

CVC will inject 2.7 billion euros in the league in exchange for a 10% stake and 10% revenue in most of its business.

Real Madrid along with Barcelona will reject this new deal and not vote for it.

Real Madrid said: “This agreement was made without the participation of Real Madrid and without their knowledge and LaLiga has allowed for the first time today that we have limited access to the terms of the agreement.

“The clubs have assigned the audiovisual rights exclusively for their commercialization in competition and for a period of 3 years. This agreement, using a deceptive structure, expropriates from the clubs 10.95% of their audiovisual rights for 50 years and against the law.

“The negotiation has been done without a competitive process and the economic conditions agreed with the CVC fund give it returns of more than 20% per year. It is this same opportunistic fund that unsuccessfully tried similar deals with the Italian and German leagues.

“Real Madrid cannot support an operation that gives investors the future of 42 First and Second Division clubs and the future of the clubs that will qualify during these 50 years.

“Real Madrid will convene the assembly of compromise partners to discuss the agreement and the significant unprecedented losses in our 119-year history that such agreement would cause.”

James Rodriguez ruled out a return with Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid.

The 30-year old remains uncertain over his future with Everton but ruled out a return to the Santiago Bernabeu.

He spent six years at Real Madrid and left the Spanish giants last summer to join Everton to reunite with then-coach Carlo Ancelotti.

He ended the 2020/21 campaign with 11 assists in 23 games.

“They are asking me a lot where I am going to play. I don’t know, the truth is a quite complicated issue. Let’s see what happens,” Rodriguez said.

“I don’t want to say yes and no, because I don’t know. I’m training well and hard. I don’t know what’s going to happen, I don’t know where I’m going to play. In football and in life we don’t know anything.

“I’m training hard, preparing well, training for myself and that’s it. You have to think about the present and the present is here, I’m training hard for everything to come.

He added when asked about Real Madrid return: “Are you going back to Real Madrid? No, I don’t think so.

“That is a closed cycle which I won’t repeat.”

Carlo Ancelotti discusses on his current pre-season with Real Madrid.

The newly appointed Los Blancos manager was full of praise of the veteran players in the Real Madrid squad in the training sessions.

He also went on to explain the kind of style or play he would implement this pre-season focusing a bit more on attacking football.

“I’ve really enjoyed finding those two things: the quality among the youngsters, many of whom I didn’t know very well, and, above all, the hunger and commitment from the likes of Carvajal, Nacho, Marcelo, Lucas Vázquez and Isco, who’ve won it all in recent years and still have great desire, excitement and hunger to have a good season, which is what we’re all looking to do,” said Ancelotti.

“We have to take the club’s history into account. As a team, we have to play well and show the quality we’ve got out on the pitch. We also have to play a high-energy, high-intensity game, both with and without the ball, which is what the modern game requires of you: high intensity both on and off the ball,” he added.

Carlo Ancelotti Delighted To Have Alaba At His Disposal Again

Carlo Ancelotti Delighted To Have Alaba At His Disposal Again

Carlo Ancelotti is pleased to be working with David Alaba again.

Real Madrid completed a free transfer of the Austrian defender from Bayern Munich this summer.

Alaba is capable of playing in varied positions in defence. Primarily a left-back, Alaba can even slot in at midfield and deliver creatively if required.

“We have worked a lot,” said Ancelotti. “The players have done very well.

“There is a lot of quality in the youngsters and a great commitment from the veterans. I really liked the commitment of Carvajal, Nacho, Marcelo, Lucas and Isco, players who have won everything and still have the desire, enthusiasm and hunger to have a great season as we would all like [to have].”

“Alaba is a complete player, with a lot of quality and tactically intelligent in defence,” added Ancelotti.

“I put him at centre-back in the last games [at Bayern Munich], [but] sometimes he plays in midfield for Austria [and] he can also play on the left [side of defence]. He is a complete player who is going to do very well this season.”

Fans will be hoping to see silverware once again under Ancelotti at Real Madrid. So far, the Galacticos have only added Alaba and bid farewell to Sergio Ramos.

Robert Lewandowski Would Be Happy To Join Real Madrid

Top 5 Real Madrid Striker Targets: Best New Strikers They Can Sign In 2022

Chelsea and Real Madrid are reportedly pursuing the services of Robert Lewandowski.

Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann believes the Polish forward is content at Bavaria.

Lewandowski finished the Euro campaign early but once again led a brilliant club campaign. Reports this week claimed that the forward would be happy to join Real but Nagelsmann feels otherwise.

“The rumours about Robert Lewandowski have been around for ages, I think since he joined Bayern Munich,” he said to Sky Germany.

“I think it’s normal for someone who scores so many goals that almost every club puts out a feeler.

“I think on one hand Robert knows what he has in Munich, what he has in this team. I’ve spoken to him and texted him. I’m not very fond of the first official act with a player being to immediately discuss his contractual situation.”

Real Madrid might be looking for new strikers but not ones in Lewandowski’s age profile. The striker is 32 years old but has shown no signs of slowing down just yet. He oversaw one of his best seasons in a Bayern Munich shirt last term.

Carlo Ancelotti might feel the need to shake things up after Real’s drab displays last term.

Sergio Ramos wants Mbappe to join Real Madrid in the future.

Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos joined PSG on a free transfer earlier this month.

His teammate Kylian Mbappe has scored 132 goals in 171 games in all competitions for Paris Saint-Germain and won 10 trophies in four years for the French side.

Despite winning several trophies at the French capital, the 22-year old is refusing to sign a new contract with the Ligue 1 giants.

His new teammate Sergio Ramos signed a two-year contract with the club and believes Mbappe should move to Bernabeu at some point in his career.

“Of course. Madrid is one of the best clubs in the world. On a historical level, the best,” Ramos told AS when asked if he would advise Mbappe to move to the Bernabeu.

“For me, great players have to go through there. But now I want him on my team. I want to win and for that I want the best to be by my side.

“Advice on a personal level I could never give. I could tell him something from experience, but I would do it in private.

“As a PSG player, I would like him to stay. I like to play with the best and Mbappe is one of them.”

Raphael Varane getting closer to signing for Manchester United

Raphael Varane will likely join Manchester United in the summer.

Manchester United and Raphael Varane are negotiating personal terms ahead of a move to Old Trafford.

The French defender has refused to sign a contract extension with Real Madrid who is keen on a new challenge in his career.

The Red Devils are on the lookout for a new centre-back partner for club captain Harry Maguire and Varane is on the top of their wishlists.

Varane still has a year left in his contract and United will be looking to negotiate a lower fee knowing he will be available for free next summer.

The 28-year old defender has made over 350 appearances for Los Blancos and was capped 79 times by France.

Earlier last week, Rio Ferdinand said: “He brings an absolute winning mentality. I think he’s played in 14 finals and won 14. So there’s an absolute winning mentality, he knows how to win, he’s got great experience and he’s an unbelievable specimen by the way.

“I’ve been saying alongside Maguire he needs someone with some pace the way Man United play.

“We haven’t had the players quick enough to do that in the centre-back areas. If you get someone like him, people start thinking ‘well we ain’t gonna play the ball over the top cos Varane is gonna eat that up.’ Someone like him, he’ll bring that authority I hope to the back line.”
